Cheltenham Twins Group Committee
The Twins Group and website are run by busy parents of twins. We’ll always do our best to respond promptly to emails, but should we not achieve this, please be patient!
| Name | Role | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Ellie Dutton | Chair | I am a very busy mum of 3; I have boy/ girl twins (Ethan and Amelia) born in August 2008, and I also have Eva who was born in June 2006. Before I became a mum I was a mortgage advisor and an aerobics teacher. I am now training to be a Teaching Assistant in a primary school. |
| Judy Yates | Treasurer | |
| Claire Harrison | General Secretary and Buddy Co-ordinator | I am a mum of 5, my recent additions non-identical twins Robbie and Daisy born in December 2010. I like to be busy and twins definitely mean I am always busy. I work as an Administrator and in my spare time – (not actually ‘spare’ just the times the twins get quality time with dad) I enjoy running and I am currently training to run a marathon |
| Rachel Miles | Newsletter Editor | Mum to Molly and Georgina, utterly non-identical twins born in Jan 2010. I am currently taking a crash course in Toddler Tantrums and have learned that silence equals destruction. I am just about to become a registered child minder, as the girls already have an expensive taste in shoes. Being a twin Mummy is fun! |
| Emma Trueman | Membership Secretary | I’m a nanny who has worked with a family with identical twins boys since 2008, and now also care for a second set of twins on a regular basis. Somehow, somewhere along the line, I ended up on the CTG committee! |
| Laura Batty | PR / Marketing | Mum of identical girls born in August 2010. I’m a PR consultant, though these days I’m much more likely to be watching Waybuloo with the girls than Newsnight. I love being a twin mummy, and have had lots of support and found new friends through the Twins Group. |
| Gemma Curtis | Expecting Twins Co-ordinator | I have girl/boy twins born in April 2011. They were six weeks early and spent three weeks in Special Care. Before joining the world of nappies, double buggies and Costa coffee I ran a unit for Secondary School age pupils who had been suspended from school. Challenging and very entertaining! I love having twins and all the tears and laughter it has brought me so far…. |
| Paula Howard | Playgroup Co-ordinator | I have four children; James born Mar 2003, Amy born Jan 2008 and boy/girl twins Sam and Katie born Nov 2009 and was a store duty/finance manager before having the children but I am now a stay at home mum, although I’m very rarely at home…more likely to find me at a toddler group or the park even in the rain… |
| Rachel Chicken | Website and Hospital Talk Co-ordinator | Mum to non identicals – Evie and Jess – who were born in May 08 and Matilda who was born in January 2010, and a marketing freelance, doing stuff for software companies. |
| Alex Agombar | Committee Member | My two were born in June 2008, a boy and a girl, James and Katie. Before my life was overtaken by twins I used to work for Friends of the Earth. I now spend my days in toddler groups and playgrounds, still looking slightly shocked. |
| Amy Stoddart | Committee Member | |
| Rachel Reid | Committee Member | Mum to identical twin boys born in February 2008. Loving being a mum and just about managing to juggle the demands of parenting with the demands of working virtually full-time for the National Autistic Society. |
| Terri Harvey | Committee Member | Mum to decidedly dissimilar twin girls, born May 08, whilst working as an accountant. Prior to their arrival I loved socialising, especially eating out, but bizarrely prefer this lifestyle of outings to the park and gourmet pasta and cheese! |
