Open invitation for expectant parents to meet other parents of multiples and share the secrets of life with two babies. A great opportunity to ask questions, discuss any concerns, and generally make new friends. There’s no charge for the sessions which are held in our homes, at 8pm on the last Tuesday of every month except December. Partners are most welcome, and as each session is hosted by a different group of mums do come to as many as you’d like.

Our ever popular nearly new sale takes place this year on Saturday May 22nd 1.30-3pm at Bethesda Church Hall, where we hold the Wednesday morning sessions. Packed full of good quality kids clothes, equipment and toys, as well as all things pregnancy related. Meningitis Trust Toddle Waddle Sat 17 April 2010

For the third year running, CTG will be taking part in the Meningitis Trust Toddle Waddle. This, for those of you who haven’t heard of it, is a sponsored walk in aid of the Meningitis Trust, especially for the under 5s. The event takes place throughout April, with many toddler groups, playgroups and nurseries getting involved and hosting their own walks in their local areas.

We will be doing our Toddle Waddle on SATURDAY APRIL 17TH, kicking off at 11am. It will take place in Pittville Park, and the idea is to meet at the Pump Rooms, then walk round the grassy area, taking in the duck pond (and trying to avoid the play area for the moment…) then back up the hill to the Pump Rooms for special Toddle Waddle biscuits.

Last year, the sun shone on us, and we had a lovely turn-out for the walk, then lots of people stayed for picnics and play afterwards. Hopefully we’ll have just as much luck with the weather this year. Last year, we starred in the Gloucestershre Echo, and were also featured in the Meningitis Trust magazine (on the page after stars of Coronation Street, no less). This year, we’re upping the stakes and are going to make it fancy dress (kids only, unless you really want to…) if your twins are up for that.

It may be a “Toddle Waddle”, but if your little darlings aren’t up to toddling yet, they can still join in – in their buggy, or carried. Bikes, scooters and rollerskates are also allowed!

It is officially a sponsored event, and sponsor forms can be picked up on Wednesday mornings at playgroup, or downloaded at www.meningitis-trust.org – just follow the links to the Toddle Waddle page. However, we think that joining together for a nice, sociable (and hopefully sunny) event is just as important.
